what happened to ringtones
What happened to the
ringtone
Almost a decade ago people were
spending money buying ringtones daily just for they had the new thing in music
on their phone. The kept climbing to the year 2009. By the end of 2009 there
has been over 600 million dollars spent on ringtones since the year 2000. Ringtones
became less popular when people learned how to make custom ringtones for free
or decided they didn’t want a ringtone and would prefer their phone to be
silent. Today people as a whole spend pretty much no money what so ever on
ringtones.

Technology article
A new law in Georgia has given parents of teenagers a new
app called Cell control- this new app for smart phones allows teenagers to sync
there device with their vehicle, and when the vehicle is moving your phone is
deactivated and cannot be used at all. The device to sync it to your phone cost
130 dollars but has no other payments involved after that it works for all cell
phone providers. Authorities believe this will help crack down on distracted
driving making the roads safer. This app is expected to go nationwide if proven
it works. A poll found almost every parent with teenage drivers is up to try
this new technology, they said they will try anything that can lead to their
kids being safer drivers and keeping their life’s safer.

Google Docs
What do i like about Google docs? One thing I like about this product is how it saves automatically, it saves me time and helps me keep concentrated on what I was doing. I also admire how you can access it from any computer your at as long as you have an internet connection. One of the few things i dis-like about Google docs is the lack of formats and tools your missing out on which you have access to in the Microsoft applications. I enjoy how you and your partner can be at different computers in a different area and both be able to communicate and work on the same project together. I think that Google can improve the Google docs by updating it for its more identical to Microsoft word. Over all I believe me project turned out really well.

Technology article- A new tool to stop cybercrime
The new generation on firewalls coming out is supposedly safer. Old firewalls just protected against unsafe data, while on this new firewall they search every application going into major corporations to stop hackers. People may be aloud to use Facebook now at work, just as long as they don't download games. the firewall is predicted to stop the crimes by 35% and save the u.s. 6.8 billion dollars by the year 2014. This new tool will only work though if the people using it use it correctly and faithfully. If they enter sites after the warning pops up telling them not to the firewall cant do anything about it. Therefor it is in he companies hands after downloading it to keep their company safe from viruses and hackers.
